About LeadDesk message types
There are three types of messages that can appear in the notification center in the Agent interface:
- Private messages are sent by an Admin directly to an agent. Only that agent can read that message.
- Public messages are sent by an Admin to multiple agents, based on Agent Group, Project or Office.
- System messages are sent by LeadDesk to inform users of important new information about the application.

Managing messagesTo manage your messages:
You will see tabs for each type of message you currently have. To see messages of each type:

Closing the message center
When finished:
- Click anywhere outside the message center to close it.
Messages in Legacy Outbound
- Messages are shown at the top of the agent's view.
- Private messages can be deleted by the agent once read, either by clicking the Remove link next to it, or by clicking the Delete button in the window when the message initially arrives.
- Public messages (Project, Agent Group and Office Messages) are displayed at the top of the agent's view until removed by the administrator.
