This article describes changes which are coming soon to the LeadDesk Admin interface.
Selecting a page and subpage
The organisation of the Admin interface remains the same, with the content arranged into pages (Overview, Reports, Projects,...) with each page having multiple subpages (In the Overview page, those are Dashboard, Agents, Agents groups,...).
Previously, pages were listed across the top of the screen, with their subpages below. Now the main menu has been moved to the left of the interface:
- Hover over the left-hand menu to see the familiar page names.
- Click the page you wish to go to.
The subpages still appear across the top of the screen.
- Click the subpage you wish to go to as normal.
The main menu will collapse to the icons-only size again, giving maximum screen space for the information you need to be displayed.
On pages where there are too many subpages to show, for example if you are working in a small window, or you have many custom subpages, a small arrow will be displayed to the right (or left) of the list.
Further developments are being considered that might see pages being combined, making the list shorter and the arrows needed less frequently. |
Search, Notifications and Stagelight
The buttons for Search, Notifications and Stagelight still appear as normal in the top right of the Admin interface.
User menu
The user menu, previously appearing to the right of the notifications icon, has now been moved to the bottom left of the screen, inside the menu menu bar.

Changes to filtering
After reviewing feedback on changes to the filtering of the new Overview subpages, we have made further refinements.
- The filter options are visible by default, as before, and can be selected by clicking the drop-downs.
- The new shortcuts for specific date ranges (for example, This week and Last month) are still available in the Time interval drop-down.
- Once you have defined the filters you wish to use, click the Hide filters link to hide them and concentrate on the table.
- Click Filters applied to show the filters and select new options.
Further development
Theses changes are the next step in a bigger refresh of the Admin interface that is being developed. This webinar discusses some of the bigger changes we are looking at for the near future.
