Support for Pure Generative AI Chatbots
Chatbot Studio now supports a cleaner limited UI for chatbots which are only powered by generative AI/ Large Language Models (LLMs).
AI Configuration
A new page for AI Configuration is now available. In here you can define the basic setup for your generative AI/LLM chatbot, if you are using one. As well as including basic information like a welcome message and the name of the bot, you can also specify:
- The Default language for the bot. This is the language the bot will use as default and expects the visitors to use most of the time. However, the bot is multilingual and will answer questions in other languages.
- Topics the bot can help with. Bot trainers can list the main topics the chatbot can help with. The bot will use this information when asked what it can help with.
- The Tone of voice of the bot - should it be friendly or professional? Enthusiastic or neutral? You can set the desired tone of voice of your bot.
- The Answer length the bot uses between short, medium and long.
If you are not using an LLM bot, the AI Configuration page will still be visible, but going to that page will show the message This feature is currently not enabled. To enable the feature, please contact your Customer Success Manager or support.chatbot@leaddesk.com.
For further information see Configuring a generative AI/LLM chatbot.
Hybrid Chatbots
For clients using hybrid chatbots bots using both intents and AI generated responses:
- If a response was generated by AI, those answers will clearly be indicated as AI responses in the Conversations view. The green background and the icon both indicate this answer was AI generated.
Scenarios and variables
New options for managing scenarios and variables:
- When creating or editing an intent, you can can now create a new scenario in the Scenario drop-down list.
- You can now delete scenarios and variables. Deleting a scenario will not delete any of the associated intents. See the support articles Deleting variables and Deleting scenarios.
