Admins
Admins are logged out automatically if their account is left idle for 30 minutes. This is for security reasons and cannot be changed.
Agents
When you create an outbound call center project, you can define a timeout for that project. Agents who are passive for the specified amount of time will be logged out automatically.
The setting is in the Optional settings section of outbound projects. Note that this setting is not available for customer service projects, as the amount of passive time for agents will vary on the frequency of incoming calls/messages.
For more information about optional settings, see the article Optional settings for projects.
Immediate log out
If you get logged out immediately after you log in, one possibility is that you are trying to log in to an older version of LeadDesk. Check the URL of the login page:
The numbers after leaddesk.com show which version that page is using. In the above screenshot, the login page is connecting to version 24.50.
Old versions get pruned automatically, but if the URL is stored in a cookie it could still be accessed by your browser, especially if you use bookmarks to access the login page. If you have the login page bookmarked, edit the URL so that it does not include the version number:
A bookmark for this page will always redirect to the latest release version of LeadDesk. This way, you can continue using the bookmark, but always ensure that you’re using the latest version.
