As an agent, when you receive an inbound call, you should hear a ringtone in your headset.
If your headset doesn't produce any sound (ringtone), but you can hear the customer when you pick up, this means that Chromium's audio engine is not able to resample the audio to the audio output format, used by your headset.
To fix this:
- Open your Windows sound settings (right-mouse click),
- Open the Playback tab,
- Open your active headset: default (communication) device,
- Open the Advanced tab
- Change the sample rate from the drop down menu,
- Click on "Apply".
Depending on your headset, you will have to try the different sample rates until you find the correct one. To be on the safe side, you should close and re-open the application after every change of your sound settings.
