Reports: GDPR Search Tool

Getting the GDPR Search Tool

If you do not have the the GDPR Search Tool installed, it is available for free from the LeadApp Store.

  • Click the Activate button to add it to your available reports. You will need to authorise with your Admin username and password.

Using the GDPR Search Tool

In your Admin account:

  1. Go to the Reports page.
  2. Go to the Overview subpage.
  3. Click the Create report button.
  4. In the Report name drop-down list, search for the GDPR Search Tool.
  1. Click the Time period drop-down list and select the period you are interested in.
  2. Click the Run report button in the top-right.
  1. Type the search details to find the contacts you are interested in. See below for tips on searching.
  2. Click the Show report button. 

Search tips for the GDPR tool

  • Phone number can be in local or international format. If in international format, it should begin with a +.
  • SSC is social security code (social security number, or national identification number).
  • Phone number, SSC and Email can be combined. They are treated as OR.
  • Sponsor can also be combined with others, but is treated as AND. For example, if you specify SSC, Email and Sponsor, it will find all matches with that SSC OR that Email, AND are associated with that Sponsor. 

Managing GDPR

Once you have found the matching information, you can either download the report or delete the matches. Deleting does not remove the data, but does anonymise it. As noted, deleting does not remove any orders.

Download ZIP

To download a ZIP file of the report:

  1. Click the Download ZIP button.
  1. Type a Password for the zip file.
  2. Click the Download ZIP button.

The report will be downloaded as a password protected Excel file, and as a non-password protected CSV file.

Delete

To anonymise the records displayed in the report:

  1. Click the Delete button.
  1. Click the Delete button to confirm.
