Numbers can be added to blacklists in several ways. Agents might add a phone number to a blacklist as part of a call ending reason, and as an Admin, you may upload an entire file of blacklisted numbers. This article describe how to add individual phone numbers to a blacklist, as well as managing numbers on a list.
Adding a phone number to blacklists
To add an individual number to one of your blacklists, in your Admin account:
- Go to the Contact Lists page.
- Go to the Blacklist subpage.
- Click the Add phone number button.
- Type the Phone number to be added. No formatting will be applied to the number, so type it exactly as you want it to appear in the blacklist. This will usually be in international format.
- Click to select which blacklist you want to add the number to. You can select multiple blacklists using Ctrl-click.
- Click the Save button.

Deleting numbers from blacklists
If a phone number has been put onto a blacklist in error, you can delete it from the blacklist again. In your Admin account:
- Go to the Contact Lists page.
- Go to the Blacklist subpage.
- If necessary, type the number in the Search field to find it in your blacklists.
- Click the Delete icon
to the right of the row for that number.
- To confirm, click the OK button.
Note that this removes the number from all blacklists. If you want the number to appear on some blacklists and not others, use the Edit option.
