If enabled for your environment, you can send an SMS to all customers in a contact list.
The SMS message must be be defined in a message template, and it will be sent to all phone numbers in the selected contact list. This does mean that contacts with two or more phone numbers in their record will receive the message to each of their phone numbers.
Creating the template
The SMS sent will be based on an existing SMS message template, see Message templates - SMS templates for more information about creating the template. When creating a template for bulk messages, consider:
- If you want contacts to be able to reply to this SMS, make sure the Template's sender phone number is an inbound capable SMS number that has its own inbound route in LeadDesk.
- Avoid using tags in the template unless you are confident the tag will be able to be converted for every message, for every contact.
