To send an SMS, your contact needs to have at least one valid phone number. With the contact's details open:
- Click to select the SMS tab.
Note that you can't send an empty SMS.
- Type your message. You can use canned messages by clicking
and selecting the template to use.
- Click the Send button.
Multiple phone numbers
If your contact has multiple phone numbers, a small triangle will appear next to the main phone number. To select the phone number to send to:
- Click the drop-down list.
- Click to select the phone number you want to send the message to.
