Addresses associated with your outbound numbers

Proof of address

You are responsible for proof that you are allowed to use and own numbers in your LeadDesk environment.

Legacy addresses

Previously, addresses were created on the Phone numbers page in the Addresses table. This table will be available as view only until the end of 2026. New addresses can no longer be added here, but existing addresses can still be used for phone numbers. 

Adding a new address

You can build your library of addresses and then apply them to whichever phone numbers are relevant.

In your Admin account:

1. Go to the Settings page.
2. Go to the Addresses sub page.

To create a new address:

3. Click the Create button.

In the Create an address dialog: Type an Address name. This will be used to identify that address in LeadDesk. Click to select the Address type. Choose Own if the address if for your won company, or Sponsor's address if adding an address for a sponsor. Complete all other address fields, all are mandatory Address verification Next, you must add proof of that address. This should be a PDF, jpg, jpeg, or PNG file verifying the address. It cannot be a LeadDesk invoice Click the Choose file button. Select the file to use. Click the Open button.

Carefully read the disclaimer, then click to confirm that you understand. Click the Create button.

Associating an address with an outbound number

The address will be given an Approval status of Pending. Once verified, it can be associated with one or more of your phone number in the Phone numbers page.
