The AI dialer is an evolution of the predictive robot, designed to further reduce dropped calls.
Dropped calls
Dropped calls occur when the dialer has placed a call to a contact, the contact answers, but there are no agents available to handle that call.
They are an inevitable part of predictive dialing, if agents take a little longer than expected on their previous call, they will not be available to take the next one. It is nevertheless a good idea to keep the number of dropped calls to a minimum. Not only do dropped calls burn call attempts in your contact lists, resulting in list inefficiency, but too many dropped calls from the same number can get that number identified as a nuisance caller and might result in that number being blocked by service providers.
