As an Admin you can limit what data your Supervisors can see by assigning data owner to your campaigns and projects before choosing which data owner a Supervisor is allowed to see.
Availability
Data owners is only available for OCC 4.0 and later versions. If you are in need of data owners but are currently running OCC 3.x, please contact your account manager and we will plan the upgrade with you.
Short guide
Each campaign/project will contain data. Contact lists, order recordings, agents activity, these are all data contained within a campaign and/or project. As an Admin, you can assign an entity to campaigns/projects that will act as the owner of the data. A data owner, if you will.
- A data owner can be a sponsor, office or team, for example. They are just containers that can be named anything.
- A campaign or project can only be assigned 1 data owner
- A Supervisor can be allowed to see data from several data owners
- Campaigns and projects without an assigned data owner is visible for everyone
Creating (and managing) data owners
Create a support ticket and list the data owners you want to administer. Name changes and removing data owners is also done via support tickets.
Assigning data owners to campaigns and projects
For campaigns, go to Manage Campaigns (in WebAdmin) and select Campaign Settings. Here you will find a dropdown where you can assign a data owner. The same field is found in the the Campaign Builder.
For projects, go to Manage Projects and Project Settings to find the data owner dropdown
Inbound queues
Queues are not assigned a data owner, since they are always attached to a campaign. The queue is considered to have the same data owner as the attached campaign.
Reports
It is important that you state which Data Owner a report should belong to when ordering a new report.
Supervisors can not see reports that cover multiple campaigns/projects.
Assigning data owners to Supervisors
Edit a Supervisor level user and go to the tab “Data Owners”
Here, you can assign one or several data owners to your Supervisor. This user can then only see campaigns and projects belonging to those data owners. They will also see campaigns and projects that do not have a data owner assigned.
