Project is the new campaign
Starting with a change which is actually outside of release r84.77. We have recently made a notable update to the interface which affects all Admins, and Agents using Omni. In most Admin pages, and across the Omni interface, the word campaign has been replaced by the word project.
This reflects the growing variety of use cases for LeadDesk. Campaign is great for outbound sales, and will continue to be used in the Outbound interface, but project is a better fit for other uses. This change does not change what you can do in LeadDesk, just what some if it is called!
Admin
- Added the ability to report on order states in custom order reports. Including filtering the reports on order states and adding Report columns and Grouping for order states.
- When specifying an Email sender in inbound projects, you can now include a name as well as an email address using the format Name <name@example.com>.
- The contact management tool in Admin was not correctly filtering when a user-defined call ending reason had the same name as a default call ending reason. This could result in only the contacts with the user-defined reason getting copied. This has now been fixed and both versions will be copied, if selected.
- If you have recordings set to only be available from certain IP addresses, the error message when you tried to access a recording from an incorrect IP address was wrong. The error message is now more helpful. Also corrected for certain agent views as well.
- The Agents online widget in the dashboard was only showing agents who logged in today. It now shows the correct number of agents online, even if agents logged in before today.
- In the General Settings page’s subpage Activity Management, the Add button was not displaying correctly in Swedish. This has been fixed.
Outbound
- Fixed an error in the B2B module that could cause a problem using Create a new contact for this company in certain circumstances.
- Fixed a problem with searching for a contact after initiating a manual call. The contact’s details can be selected as intended again.
- Agents using a GSM Dongle were encountering errors when they received anonymous inbound calls. These have now been fixed.
- If you have disabled both Preview and Progressive calling modes for your campaign, the Outbound interface opens directly to the Contact list, showing the contacts on it, as intended.
- Added support for new Finnish social security numbers.
Omni
- The tags {agent.outbound_email}, {sponsor.name} and {calling_list.name} can now be used in canned messages for Omni.
