Starting from this release, you may notice a change in the version numbers shown in LeadDesk.
- If you were previously on version 25.x, your LeadDesk will now show version 11.x, starting today with 11.1.
- If you were previously on version 10.x, your LeadDesk will soon show version numbers in the 25.x range, beginning with the next update.
- Updates may take a few days to appear for all customers.
You can check which version you’re on at any time by looking at the address bar while LeadDesk is open. For example, here’s a screenshot of a customer still on version 25.24.
As well as security updates, this release includes:
Omni
- Streamlined the agent interface by removing the communications panel from tabs where it was not needed, for example, in webchats and when viewing a contact from the History page of the interface. In this example, a tab for the LeadDesk onboarding guide has been added from a project web address; there is no communication panel (for Call/Email/SMS etc.)
- Webchat messages in a chat the agent has active will be marked as read automatically.
- Fixed a rare problem with sorting the History page in date order. The table will now sort correctly as expected.
Admin
- If an Inbound Route is pointing to a flow which has been deleted, the route's Destination name will now show Flow deleted, making it easier to spot and troubleshoot.
Outbound
- Fixed an issue where the timer on the Inbound page of the Outbound interface could report a different length of time than was recorded in the agent's activity in the Admin's reports.
Talk
- Removed a hard-coded time limit that would send the agent to the Away screen after they were passive for 5 minutes. Setting to set a preferred time limit is available in project settings.
