Release 10.0 is now available form the LeadDesk downloads page. As well as some security updates, this release introduces the following:
New settings page
- Moved all settings from the Setup application to the agent's settings in the application. The settings page has been redesigned to accommodate the extra settings.
- Note that this change means switching between GSM and VoIP can now only be done as part of the application installation.
- In some versions of Windows, the Google SSO details are not being remembered between sessions. If you encounter this, use the new setting, Enable local disk cache. This setting is off by default, but if switched on, Google SSO information will be preserved.
- New settings available to disable the automatic proxy detection, improving your ability to use alternate recording servers.
Audio and microphone updates
- New installations of the application will automatically split call recordings, with the agent on one side and contact on the other. This makes calls easier to listen to, and easier to analyse. This can be switched off if needed.
- Improved overall call recording quality. This does slightly increase file size of the recordings.
- Added a new setting which determines if the agent's microphone is only kept active during a call. Setting the microphone inactive between calls will improve the sound quality for agents listening to other applications between calls.
Other updates
- Logging out of the application now correctly disconnects the VoIP connection.
