LD Admin - Custom reports

 

If you find that our reports don't fit the bill, you can easily customize your own ones via our Custom report tool. This can be useful if you want to pull a specific type of report, but it either lacks information you need or has too much redundant information. The report will be available as normal on the Reports page where you would pull the built-in reports. But first, you must create the custom report.

Creating a custom report

Go to Admin Reports (1) > Custom reports (2), then press the Create new-button (3) to open the Create new custom report page.

Then follow these steps to create your own report:

  1. Name - Give the report a name (mandatory)
  2. Report template - Choose which template will be used for the report (either Call report or Order report)

The following part will be split, because the options depends on which template is used.

Custom call report:

  1. Report columns - Choose which columns will be added to the report. You can rename the headers by entering a name in the Custom name text box.
  2. Report options - Holds following options
    1. Type of displayed calls - What type of calls should be included in the report. Possible values: All calls, Answered calls, Finalized calls, Unanswered calls
    2. Call direction - Which type of calls should be included in the report. Possible values: Inbound & Oubound calls, Only inbound, Only outbound
    3. Sorting column - Which column the report is ordered by by default.
    4. Sorting order - Choose whether the report should be sorted in ascending or descending order

Order report:

Do steps 1-5 from previous parts, then do the following:

  1. Report columns - Choose which columns will be added to the report. You can rename the headers by entering a name in the Custom name text box.
  2. Report options - Holds following options
    1. Sorting column - Which column the report is ordered by by default.
    2. Sorting order - Choose whether the report should be sorted in ascending or descending order

Once you've gone through these steps, scroll down to the bottom of the page and press the Save-button.

Viewing a custom report

To view the custom report you created in the previous part, go to Admin > Reports (1)> Reports (2). In report type dropdown menu, you should be able to choose the report you created. As can be seen in the pictures below, depending on the template used, the report will be found either under Call reports or Order reports

Editing or deleting a custom report

If you wish to delete a custom report you've previously created, go to Admin > Reports (1) > Custom reports (2), then either click the Report name if you wish to edit it, or on the Delete-button if you wish to delete it.
