LD Admin - Message templates

After using a call ending reason, LeadDesk can automatically send a message to a contact (and others in CC). Using templates will save agents time and standardize messages. Dynamic values will personalize any standardized message.
From General Settings (1) > Message templates (2) you can create templates which can be assigned to call ending reasons after.

SMS template (3)

  • Template name - the name under which your template can be found in LeadDesk.
  • Template sender - every SMS needs a sender number, either a static phonenumber or the agent's phone number set from the agent's contact card.
  • Template text - here you can define the text that will be send. You can use dynamic values to personalize the text. Dynamic values are pieces of text pulled from the contact card.

Please note that LeadDesk uses different providers to make sure that different language characters are excepted or to allow for more than 160 characters (default) within a message. Please contact Support if you're having problems sending out any SMS.
