Help! VoIP is not working

The most common VoIP troubleshooting solutions

If you are using the LeadDesk Windows application make sure you have VoIP selected in LeadDesk Setup > General.


You should also check that your log in credentials are correct or assign a VoIP account to the agent via Admin panel > Agents and clicking on the applicable agent to edit their details.


If you get the error message: VoIP account registration failed: Unable to connect to the VoIP Server

  • This usually means that a firewall or antivirus software is blocking something. You can check it in the Control Panel, go to windows firewall and then make sure that the "LeadDesk" is allowed in there. If not, add it.
